When I first read Thyrza Escobar’s books, I recognized her wisdom and understanding of astrology at a depth beyond that of most modern astrologers. Because Thyrza had already past away, I was fortunate to study her work with one of her students and then her husband Joe Allen Jones, allowed me access to her library and her private papers. The Star Wheel is a brilliant tool and way of looking at astrological charts. It shows why dates recur in individuals lives and also maps out the developmental phases that the charts delineate. Studying Thyrza’s work is deep study requiring understanding of dwads and superdwads and is intense but well worth the effort.
