Margaret Hone was an early astrologer and a phenomenal one at that. Her work is an outstanding introduction to the history of astrology and to how astrology works. The contents are worth learning and digesting because early astrologers did their own calculations on charts and thus, understood the importance of exactness and precision in interpretation. When I was studying astrology intensively to ask Katherine De Jersey how she predicted events so accurately, she told me to read this book and study it in order to have the foundation I would need later. Her advice helped me enormously.
